While I am do not live on the South Coast NSW, as far as I am aware, Gang
Gangs are known and shown to be residents of the Eurobodalla Shire (Batemans
Bay to Bermagui). While there may be some local movements in winter, there
is no evidence that they migrate to the Blue Mountains!. Generally speaking,
during autumn and winter in NSW Gang Gang Cockatoos are altitudinal migrants
from the higher mountains to the coast or to the western slopes and are more
likely therefore to turn up in urban areas at that time.
