I've just finished reading Bob Brown's wonderful new book MEMO FOR A
SANER WORLD. The book addresses Green politics in Australia and the
world, global warming, Antarctica, the saving of the Franklin River,
deforestation in Tassie, indigenous affairs in Australia and... the
plight of the great knot (which he calls a 'little Aussie traveller')
due to the destruction of its wetlands in South Korea, courtesy of
Hyundai's 33km dyke which will enclose 40 000 hectares of the Saemangeum
tidal flats. The book is a fascinating and alarming read. No matter what
your political persuasion, it's worth looking at.

As Ali G. might say 'big ups' Bob Brown!!!

Have a good weekend all.

LGJ.
