Hi Peter,

A quick look at HANZAB suggests that this is a very unusual sighting. They
say that birds rarely are reported in winter south of 26°S, with a reporting
rate of 0.3%. They also say "rarely winter in NSW or Vic."

Has anyone else any thoughts?

Stuart
