Hi Clare

Just back from Southern NSW. Try the Thurgoona golf course - just out of
Albury for heaps of Gang-gangs and Red-rumped Parrots. Pretty well anywhere
in the area is good for Red-rumps. Saw a few families of Turquoise Parrots
during a two hour stay in the forests near Chiltern, Victoria, on May 1.

Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos are pretty common where I live in Sans Souci,
Sydney, but you'll catch plenty of them and many other species on the more
scenic main Curra Moors trail - particularly the first kilometer or two
beyond the forested section where they are always in attendance - in the
Royal National Park, just south of Sydney.

Hope this helps.

Regards - Ricki
