Hello all,

Thanks very much to all those people that respond to my request for info for good spots between Sydney and Melbourne. Croajingalong NP (coastal eastern Victoria) certainly sounds like a great spot and one that I'd like to visit one day.

Cheers

Hello all,

I'm after a bit of advice on locations between Sydney and Melbourne.

A bird-photographer friend of mine from Hawaii is spending a few weeks in May travelling with his wife from Sydney to Melbourne along the coast and then back to Sydney along a more inland route. I've never done a trip like this and most of this area is unknown territory for me.

In particular, does anyone know much about the Abobe Flats area near Karbeethong/Mallacoota or Croajingolong National Park?

I was hoping that people might have some suggestions on places that either shouldn't be missed or are worth spending time at. One of these days I might make the trip myself! This time I'm probably going to be travelling in a northerly direction in May and so won't be able to help them directly.

Anyway, any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers and thanks in advance,

Mick Todd
