HI Tim,

Not the same day, but I had a very similar sighting. 3 weeks ago I was in
Melbourne on holiday with some overseas visitors. We took the bus trip to
Phillip Island to see the Little Penguins.

The bus went via St Kilda beach front, then across to Dandenong and south to
Phillip Is. Just south of Dandenong, we passed a paddock in which were about
a dozen White Ibis, 4 straw necked and 2 Glossy Ibis. I remarked to my
visitors that I had never seen all three Ibis at once, however not being
familiar with Victoria I did not know how unusual this was.
