Hi All,
Spent a delightful couple of hours wandering around Badger Weir Park today where the highlights included 3 Gang Gangs in top area of the carpark whilst Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoos, Crimson Rosella and Sulphur-crested Cockatoos also added to the cacophony.  Also more Gang Gangs between the racecourse and the Yarra Valley Tourist Rail line.  Do Gang Gangs remain in Healesville throughout the summer or are they early arrivals?
Other birds at Badger Weir (from carpark to front gate) included Striated & Spotted Pardalote, White-throated Treecreeper, Golden Whistler, Silvereyes, Yellow Robin, Yellow-faced & White-naped Honeyeater and Varied Sittellas.  Unfortunately no lyrebirds today.
Happy birding
Marlene
