Hello all,
 Tried for it on afternoon of 18th but without success. Few birds of any
description about.Together with another Sydney hopeful I checked out the
site of previous sightings and adjacent areas, also the mangrove- lined
creek to the north beyond the east-west cross track. Half a dozen Sharp
tailed Sandpipers feeding amongst the dead trunks and branches but no
Yellow Wagtail. Found the nest mentioned by Alan Morris , The two
cryptically marked eggs seemed disproportionaly large for such a little
bird. Must have heaved a big sigh of relief. A strong southerly
developed during the early afternoon, the only creatures enjoying the
blustery conditions were five Pelicans giving their display of tight
formation flying, at times escorted by a squadron of Australian Ibis.
Much consternation in the neighborhood this morning, a couple of
Crested Bazas arrived, to be meet by a mixed Neighborhood Watch
committee of the usual suspects { 18 Noisy Miners-I stopped counting!}
