Hi all.

There was ONE Oriental Pratincole at Werribee Sewerage Farm (Victoria) thismorning.


Same place as last year - Austin Road first pond on left thru gate.

G'day Frank et al,

Thanks for clearing that up for me. What an awesome sight it must have been
from the air and such incredible numbers to be up close to on the ground.

Are there any ideas or theories as to how the extra two million, four
hundred and thirty three thousand Oriental Pratincoles have managed to
remain out of sight in the East Asian - Australasian Flyway for the last
twenty odd years.
