Hi David & List,

Lots of Dusky Robins out my way....
After many years away from bird-watching, the arrival of the much-debated
Pizzey & Knight handbook
as a Xmas present ignited the fire once more! Here's my diary entry for my
garden for Sunday 4th...
Weather: Bloody windy, but Sunny 24C

Wedgetail Eagle
Yellow-throated Honeyeater
Swamp Harrier
Forest Raven
Superb Fairy Wren
Grey Shrike Thrush
Common Blackbird
House Sparrow
European Goldfinch
Welcome Swallow
Yellow Rumped Thornbill
Dusky Wood Swallow (lots of)
Fan-Tailed Cuckoo
Bassian Thrush
Mopoke ( I like the old name "Mope Hawk")

Cheers

Jim Rouse
