Whilst it may be tempting, a good swift kick up the ring (that's presumably
after the person involved has been netted and ringed) probably wouldn't be
helpful.  It would establish a relationship between kicker and kickee that
would probably result in the kickee wanting to take out his frustrations on
something similarly vulnerable - that is, more wildlife.  It would be
tantamount to bullying, which only leads to more bullying.

Having said that, I have no idea what to do either.  I find it terribly
disappointing that not only the vandalism occurred, but there are people who
find this type of violent expression necessary.
