Hi Stuart,

I was pleasantly surprised to spot a Common Sandpiper
at Albert Park Lake this afternoon. It was in one of
the sheltered ponds at the northern end of the
Lakeside Drive side. I went there to see if I could
add the Royal Spoonbill (which I had seen there before
Christmas) to my year list. It was still there at the
southern end, within a few metres from the edge!

Cheers,

Alan Flack
