Hi Dick,
Thanks for the information, I was not aware that Aust. Raven's could have snow white at the base of the neck and head feathers, I have only ever seen grey.    I will visit the Museum and have a look at some skins.   It was quite a sight to see the snow white feathers drifting down and floating on the pond, and quite a few of them too!   Steve Anyon Smith said there had been a sighting of a Torresian Crow previously at RNP but that it was a long time ago - I do not have any further details. Your reply was very much appreciated, as was the help you gave me with waders close to 30 years ago!  The closest to Sydney that we have previously recorded Torresian Crows is Swansea Heads.       Judi
