Edithvale Hide is looking like a bird's paradise again. A rare visitor to
Edithvale Bird hide at present is a Glossy Ibis. Latham's Snipe and Sharp
Tailed Sandpipers have arrived, and many swans have young trailing along
behind them. The water level is quite high at present which brings many of
the ducks in close to the hide but is not so conducive to crakes and rails
viewing. Every day is different though.
Twilight openings - the hide will be open on the next 2 Wednesday evenings
from 5 -7pm, and then again in the New Year from Jan 7. Melways 93 D8
