again the Australian Pratincoles are in Nth Vic. Today, about 25km east
of Mitiamo a flock of about 6 were flying around a freshly ploughed paddock,

Painted Honeyeaters were heard in Terrick Terrick NP just north of the
Mologa turnoff and there were 2 Bush Stone-curlews in a ploughed paddock
to the south of the Mologa-Terrick Terrick NP road about 500 metres East of

Golden Plover (4) were seen for the first time this season (by Richard at
least) in their usual roosting site at Kirk Point, thanks Richard Nowotny.

Freckled Duck numbers are climbing back up again in the main lagoon just
north of the birders' access gate from Beach Road (near the boat ramp) - 20 or
so on Sunday 23/11 (he saw none on his previous visit 2 weeks ago), thanks
