Hi all
Just want to correct some information sent to the list recently.
The new Pizzey and Knight field guide to Australian birds is not yet
available to the general public. It will be released around the end of
the month. Also note that this title, like many other field guides,
are available from a wide range of bookstores, often at reduced prices.
However, members of BOCA and Birds Australia (via the Birding Shop)
may prefer to support their own organisations - usually at a reasonable
discount! Whilst we don't condone advertising on this forum, I'm happy
to promote both these groups, and suggest that it might be a way of
supporting birds and birding interests if we buy from these sort of
outlets.
And thanks to those members of this forum who have their own product
lines but who refrain from advertising them via birding-aus.
