Can anyone please provide some specific directions where the
Blue-winged Parrots are at the moment in the Otway ranges in Victoria?

Just about anywhere Edwin!  Well nearly ...

On the weekend of the Twitchathon (25-26/10), we found them on roadside
grassy verges and peoples' front yards in Anglesea and Airey's Inlet -
dozens -
very easy to approach by car up to 1-2m.  They are also at Ironbark
Basin (Point Addis near Anglesea).  If you go into the Otway Ranges
forests proper, you'll probably find a few on unsealed roads anywhere
along the main ridge.  Listen for the tinkling call, or watch the
roadsides closely.
