I submitted the story below on 17/03/02 to birding-aus.
We saw several patches of Blue Bonnet feathers in the area and guessed that
it was a regular occurance.
   "I remember in 1992 on a trip with my good friend Reg Clark, and others,
in
Southern Simpson Desert.
Reg and I watched an Australian Raven leave it's nest full of young and fly
to a group of Blue Bonnets, chase, catch and kill one of the Blue Bonnets
and then feed it to the young.
I guess they all have to survive".
