Glenn Holmes wishes to advise that he saw a Grey Phalarope on Lake Mitchell, between Marreeba and Mt Malloy, on 4 November. He couldn't find it next morning but the water was rough. He worked the causeway and 1 km of shoreline adjacent each end of the causeway. Conditions there at present are excellent for waders, 9 species and a Pied Heron being seen recently.
