Frustration again, the gate at the entrance to Lake Borrie was locked with a G LOCK NOT A G2    we did advise the Ranger and I will call the Office tomorrow.

Amazingly we did not sight one Pink-eared duck, we came from Paradise Road around the back of Borrie, and the grass is very very long.  Maybe there were some near the nesting boxes or maybe they are all away breeding!   The other notable absence was Black-shouldered Kite, I think it is the first time I can remember not having a tick beside the Kite.

The Borrow Pit is back to its former glory.  There were 8 Common Greenshanks up-stream from the mouth of the Little River.

It was so good to be out birding and not battling the very strong wind.
