The NPWS is holding a White Ibis count in Sydney on Sat 15/11/03 as part of their plan of management, that they are now working on.
Bird watchers are needed to count White Ibis at their local sport fields, tips and parks. Information is needed on breeding sites and areas where Ibis are feeding.
White Ibis have increased in numbers over the past few years in the Sydney area, however we know very little on there feeding and roosting sites etc so this count may help gather much needed information. Please email me if you wish to help out on the day.
