The official southern limit has always been referred to as Iluka but
in the mid-late 1980's I had them at Woolgoolga. Others have also
since seen them there.
We found evidence of White-eared Monarchs having bred at Woolgoolga in
1994 - and penned a short note with Glenn Holmes including some other
southerly breeding records - see below ...
