Bush Chickknee Developments at SpringHill [SEQ]

I checked on the progress of the bush thickknee chick in Albert Park.  
Last week it was a ball of fluff lying on the ground.  Today it was a 
miniature replica of its parents.  It had its neck streaking, facial 
and wing colours in place and was standing tall.  Actually, it was 
wobbling tall - I think it is finding it hard to cope with its quickly 
growing legs.  Unlike its parents, who were frozen, our hero [the 
Minister for Cuteness] couldn't stay still for more than a couple of 
moments before it felt the need to wobble about on its stilts, and walk 
over the back of one of its parents.  Definitely a nice sight at lunch 
time.
