around 150.  We don't really care how many birds we see, as long as see one more bird Lawrie and Grant - all that remains of the team that won last year's 8-hour event and the Turks' arch-rivals - the Tang Tang Tintacks!

Hi Stuart

We have a little surprise for you!  The mighty "Common Driving-Petrelheads" (24 hour champions in 1998-1999) have re-formed in 2003 (after a break since 1999, during which time we've been the Tang Tang Tintacks with Chris Tzaros) to take the field for the 8 hour Victorian 'Thon.  Russell Woodford (co-founding CDPH member back in 1995) has joined Grant and I for another run around the paddock (that's our arthritic joints you can hear creaking!!).

Those with a sentimental streak might consider lobbing a bit of sponsorship our way too  :-)

Lawrie
