On a recent(26/9/03) visit to Tas we stopped for lunch in City Park Launceston only to find we had the company of several Swift Parrots overhead. For those who've never been there, it's a gorgeous old park with loads of mature deciduous trees-an English style Victorian era job. Not the place you'd normally expect a Swiftie, but who's compaining! We didn't see any in bush as we toured around Tas either, so there you go. Jan Flack. http://search.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
