Hi all,
Just returned from 3 weeks in China acting as a sheepdog for 57 15 year olds.  Had a great time, visited all the usual places and most birdwatching was incidental.  Did get two days at Gaoyou (160 km north of Nanjing) where  my time was my own and I wandered around the lake and fish ponds.
Saw a total, or rather, identified a total of 76 species including several that were well north of their range according to the field guide.
Anyone who would like a detailed list please contact me.

cheers Rob
