Hi,

Today I saw two male White-winged Trillers feeding on caterpillars they were
taking in casurinas beside the concrete channel between the playing fields.
I would think trillers were fairly unusual so deep in the suburbs of Sydney.
They were totally silent methodically working their way from tree to tree.

There were also 60+ Sharp-tailed Sandpipers and 15+ Curlew Sandpipers
feeding frantically on the Mason Park wetland. From time to time a small
party would take off and check the depth of the outgoing tide in the
concrete channel and return. They were just moving to the channel as I left.
There were also at least three Pacific Golden Plovers and two Red-kneed
Dotterels.
