Just had a phone call from Del Richards (Fine Feather Tours) - there has been a Black-winged Monarch in Red Mill House gardens at Daintree Village (far N. Qld) for about 7 days. Black-wings breed as far south as the McIvor River, north of Cooktown but occasionally overshoot.
