Hi all,

Trip reports for Pelagic trips posted to this newsgroup usually have species names and an associated species number.  I am just wondering if someone is able to name the source of these species ‘numbers’ and whether this document also has associated species codes – based on four letters.

eg.     4 Southern giant petrel                  SGPE

I would be very keen to get a copy of the document, especially an electronic version of the document (Word/Excel/PDF).  I know people have mentioned the source in some posts to the group, but a quick search of the archive didn’t help me.  Please respond to me personally rather than the group.

Cheers,

Brent
