Hi All,

There are currently 5 Brolga, including a nesting pair, on an ephemeral
lake near Birregurra Creek (just east of Colac) on the Princess Hwy.
Also present were 200 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, 300 hundred Whiskered
Tern and Black-winged Stilt.

Also, a Birds Australia survey of the Ralph Illdge Sanctuary (a Trust
for Nature property), near Naringal (east of Warrnambool) recorded 43
species including a pair of Rufous Bristlebird and White phase Grey
Goshawk. For further details on the Ralf Illge Sanctuary (and for info
on how to un-bog a 4x4) contact Euan Fothergill.

Cheers,

Tim
