As I have only been there in November, I can't answer the question below,
but HANZAB notes that there is one record (1987-88) for one breeding pair on
Lady Elliott Is.
I am pretty sure I saw them on Lady Elliott in November back in about 1991.
It cites Keys Hulsman: arrived One Tree Island Sept-Oct (1974) before
nesting Oct-Dec(1977) and that breeding ended December on One Tree Island.
It's in Qld, but it doesn't give the latitude.
