A particular aspect of classifying a species as endangered
is whether its numbers are falling. With birds such as
Freckled Duck which seem to breed well in particular
conditions - and not in others - it is not surprising its
status goes up and down as well.

It is difficult to know if the last down curve on the graph
is just that.
