Hi all,

Having seen a Freckled Duck at our Botanical Gardens here in
Bundaberg (Qld) a few months ago, I saw a uniform grey "duck" on a small
farm dam from the car at 100km/hr. They are not common hereabouts.
Being tail-gated by someone, I took 500 odd metres to turn around
and drive back to the spot....Binos at the ready ,crept next to some
sugar cane and focussed.....good it's still there.........A plastic decoy duck!
Still looked like a Freckled though.
I was going to be late for my appointment anyway.
Cheers,
Bill
