Well Frank, it saddens me if , as you indicate, you think it's Ok to
shoot birds just for collection purposes. The SA Museum already had specimens of
this species taken in 1982 so there was no need for this extra bird to be
I will never concede that it is acceptable to kill birds except to
alleviate suffering. The sooner this legalised barbaric practice stops the
better. Let the museums get their grisly collections from natural deaths.
