As Square-tailed Kites often feed on nestlings during the breeding season, what would they be feeding on during the winter when few birds are breeding within there range? Has there ever been aby records of them feeding on Carrion?

In the south west of WA they migrate north during winter.  Do they migrate at all in the Eastern States?
