We used to get the White winged Choughs all the time wandering through the property we were living on while our house was being built just North of Batemans Bay - Long Beach about 10km out of Batemans Bay NSW. They are so funny to watch. Did you know they actually will kidnap a baby/juvenile Chough from another flock? They throw the baby ones over on their backs, similar to Aust. Magpies. They are so fascinatinf to watch, while they play.
