Killara Wildlife Shelter in Crib Point, Victoria and WILDLIFE Victoria are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas.
 
Foster Carers:
Working directly with a licensed wildlife shelter you will be trained to care for orphaned and injured native wildlife in your home.
 
Active Rescuers:
Wildlife Victoria offers training to interested parties to become active rescuers of injured and/or native wildlife in your area.
 
Transporters:
Assisting local wildlife shelters and carers with transporting of wildlife to shelters and vets.
 
Wildline Operators:
Wildlife Victoria is seeking volunteers to man their 24 hours per day, rescue and referral service called "Wildline". Training provided. You can do your shift from the comfort of your own home.
 
Handy-man:
Assisting local shelters with the construction of enclosures and aviaries.
 
Donation of items:
Donations of items such as blankets, towels, heat pads, cages/aviaries, funds etc., are always appreciated.
