Crested Pigeon displays

Today, i went for a quick look down
at Hospital Swamp, Connewarre Victoria. and counted 17 Crested Pigeons
in a group.  The highest number i've seen down there so far.  

After first seeing them, a group of
four flew away from the main group. One of  the group of four started
to make a display, by fanning its tail feathers, ducking its head and 'performing'
to another crested pigeon.  Is this some type of mating ritual? Or
another type of display?
