They are a beautiful bird, I didn't know they were uncommon. Late last year I had one coming on to my property, standing on my aviary. I used to wait outside until it left. It used to sit around in the trees after I shewed it off my aviary, my aviary birds were terrified. I usually know when there is a hawk or Wedge-Tailed Eagle or other preditor birds, my birds let me know. They are beautiful and I just love watching them, especially the white Grey Goshawk. I have moved on to my own proerty now as we were renting, while our home was being built. Haven't seen a Grey Goshawk around here, plenty of Wedge-Tailed Eagles. Our property backs onto a State Forest so there is a lot of bush, and other wildlife around.
