With great respect this is far to general. There are many
situations where we should not feed wild animals.

Just look at the lakes which have been ruined by people
throwing bread to ducks.  Each person does a little but the
cumulative impact can be appalling.

Similarly with the feeding of starving kangaroos in some
large but fenced reserves leading to increasing numbers and
destruction of habitat for other animals.

I am also becoming concerned about the scale of the feeding
of Rainbow Lorikeets in my area and the impact on
availability of nest hollows... (although I think the
starlings have been most affected so far..)
