Just another note from a couple of days ago...

Crested Pigeons seem to be established in parts of Geelong now, and we've had a group of 6 wandering around Geelong Grammar for most of the year, plus one or two smaller groups. Last Tuesday my father saw 15 CP's sitting on powerlines on Foreshore Rd, Corio, opposite Geelong Grammar's main ovals. This is the largest group I've heard of in the area. There were unconfirmed reports of this species nesting on campus.
