I'm afraid I've been remiss in mentioning to everyone that last week there was a great article from Melbourne birder, Sue Taylor, describing her push towards 600 Australian Species. I heard the original broadcast last Sunday morning at 8.50 (Radio National). I think it is repeated on Tuesday evenings - sorry, I meant to tell everyone. Anyway, this should be mandatory listening for Birding-Aus members (who can pick up ABC Radio National). There is a transcript on the ABC website at:
