Hi Birders,
Congratulations are in order for Birds Australia member and a member of Birding NSW, well known Parkes area birdo Neville Schrader now a Member of the Order of Australia (General Division). Neville received his OAM for "for service to conservation and the environment, particularly as a field naturalist and an ornithologist".  Neville is th author of a book on the birds of Parkes Shire and has organised numerous camps for birdos in western NSW.  Famous in birding circles for the birds he has seen as a train driver when operating between Parkes and Broken Hill, and when shunting and loading wheat wagons at country silos!

Good work Neville!
