G'day Richard and all,
Callocephalon from the greek word of Callos - beauty and cephalon - greek for head/head area.
fimbriatum from the latin word for fringed.
I think it's mostly in reference to the male Gang-gang with it's obviously beautiful red head and fringed crest.
