G'day Unca Tones, Aragorn, Tom Cobra's and all,
In my day of swinging the metal shaft I was a big hitter, can't re~CAWL having any Ravens or Crows filch my balls. Mind you can't remember to many fair ways. Tee's and greens yep. A kookaburra once got a bit to close to a Tee shot of mine, days of having Kevin my Kookaburra on my shoulder and exploding golf balls.
This early a.m. ... I was out back putting some washing on the line, magpie on my shoulder protecting her Dad. I started chatting, over the garden fence with my over the road neighbour. He had Rene the Rainbow Lorikeet on his shoulder. Suddenly a little head pops up with a magpie lark on it. I think you had to have been there to get the drift.
As we humans stopped talking but stayed where we were to allow the girls/birds to have a natter.
Fourth option make shorter golf clubs for birds :^D>>>

There's considerable benefit in golf - such as having all the golf players out there in the open for ravens to drop balls on them from a great height.

I'll go for the third alternative, it has to be the only sane option.

I have just been contacted by my local council re Ravens collecting golf balls and dropping them from a great height. A local resident is somewhat miffed about this activity, presumably because of safety considerations.
Are there any solutions to this problem?
I presume that it is illegal to remove the birds. This leaves, in my mind, three other possible solutions:
1) Wear proctective headgear.
2) Move house.
3) Ban golf.
Doubtless someone will have some more sensible suggestions or have I covered all bases?
