Hi everyone,

I believe Ken has just about finished work on the 7th edition. I'm not
sure how long it takes to appear in the book stores but if you urgently
want to know I could ask him.

Regards,

Tania

Hi all,

Does anyone know if a further edition of Simpson & Day is forthcoming.
I've decided it's time to replace my tattered 5th Edition (my first
field guide in fact) but I know as soon as I go out and buy the 6th
Edition the 7th will be on the shelves within the week. The 6th was
released in 1999 and revised editions have traditionally followed no
more than 3 years later. The Preface of the 6th does promise further
editions - so is there one coming, or have Ken & Nick retired from the
field guide business?
