Hi Birders
Many thanks to those who replied to my earlier
email requesting information on Ospreys in NSW. There was an overwhelming
response!
I am hoping that those who did reply and/or others
who have any detailed information on the location of Osprey nests could take
some time and complete an Osprey data sheet. Some of this important
information includes the detailed location of the nest site (lat and long), type
of nest, height of nesting structure, adjacent land use etc. This
information will enable more detailed information to be acquired and collated
prior to field surveys, which will commence in July. Furthermore,
this information will be incorporated into later analyses for
subsequent use in the final report.
The data sheet can be downloaded at www.ekerlogic.com.au (click on
'downloads') and you can either email it back to me or post
it.
