Lawrie and Swift Watchers

Thanks Lawrie it is interesting to note that some needleatils are still in
Southern Australia as we already have had some pass through our campus in
PNG last week.

If any others have swift sightings that I do not know about I would love to
have them and around mid year I will be happy to post a summary of the two
swift species & any interesting swiftlet sightings as well.

Happy birding

Mike

Hi birders

I presume swift/needletail records are still being collated????

On Saturday afternoon I saw about 20 birds low over the coastline at
Walkerville (Waratah Bay/Cape Liptrap area west of Wilson's Promontory,
South Gippsland, Victoria). 38deg51'29"S 145deg59'42"E

Clear blue sky, dead calm (the swimming was excellent, thanks ...).
