Interesting... a few days ago I found an apostlebird at home trying to hide
in low creeping vegetation. I thought it somehow got entangled in it, and
freed it, but it appeared to be looking for a spot to peacefully die. Both
its legs weren't operating and it was crawling along using its wings, to
another hiding spot. Its tail was moving so it wasn't paralysed and it
didn't look like both legs were broken or anything. It was screeching a bit
and a few other apostlebirds turned up abusing me. So I left it and the next
day it was dead, almost completely hidden under the plants.

I wonder what could have caused this??

Cheers
