Square Tailed Kite

I had what i presume is an unusual sighting of a Squre-Tailed Kite gliding low over the trees at by the Hyams Beach turn-off (Booderoo Avenue), Jervis bay 200km South of Sydney.  It stayed around for a fair bit of Saturday afternoon 8th March 2003, staying just above the tree line.  The face and crown were pale cream/white and pale diagonal bars were obvious across the upper wings.   I also saw at least 3 Eastern Bristlebirds and several Brown Headed Honeyeaters, one of whom was feeding a fledgeling.
